Iconic Wildlife Safari

From enjoying elephants at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro to giraffes and Secretarybirds dotting the undulating landscape at the Masai Mara, this tour promises to be memorable for all.

Traversing some of the most bird-rich areas in the country, this tour takes us to thousands of flamingos high in the rift valley, higher still as we skirt the slopes of Mount Kenya, and then to the northern boundary with the desert acacia ecosystem of the Somali biome. While birds will be aplenty, so too will the other creatures, and our checklists will surely be overflowing.

Co-led by the brilliant, award-winning photographer Georgina Steytler, this custom-made itinerary covers the most photogenic landscapes of the country. Days at awe-inspiring Amboseli and at the mythical moorland of the Aberdare Mountains 3km above sea level are ultimately crowned by three full days in the Masai Mara. Whether wildlife, flora, or vista, we will help you get the best possible photograph!

A journey closer to the heart of Africa to reveal some of the continent's most valuable secrets - starting with a cruise on a lake in search of the mighty Shoebill followed a few days later by a trek into Bwindi in search of some of the last remaining Mountain Gorillas. Tree-climbing lions, the subject of several nature documentaries for their extraordinary behaviour are likely to be encountered, as well as the Chimpanzees of Kibale.

Pumas of Patagonia

One of the planet's final frontiers, Patagonia is a truly wild place. On this tour we shall spend several days in this incredible landscape, including two full days in Torres del Paine National Park. While there will be many South American birds on show, the target is undoubtedly the mighty Puma. We will be accompanied by skilled Puma trackers on this trip, sightings and close encounters are effectively guaranteed.

Birds & Mammals of the Valdés Peninsula

This incredible and biodiverse region along the Atlantic coast of South America is a mecca for marine mammals including behemoths like Southern Right Whales and Southern Elephant Seals. The birdlife within this UNESCO World Heritage Site is undoubtedly spectacular as well, during this whirlwind tour we shall enjoy multiple sessions with mammals and birds - even whale watching from the shore!

This custom itinerary features the absolute best of what Trindad & Tobago has to offer - from incredible wildlife experiences with critically endangered endemic species like the Trinidad White-fronted Capuchin and Trinidad Piping-Guan to awe-inspiring close encounters with Red-billed Tropicbirds dodging the attacks of Magnificent Frigatebirds. This trip is timed to coincide with the nesting season of Leatherback Turtles as well. Culinary adventures will be aplenty! This tour is only run once every two years.
